1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Offrd at offrd.net ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Offrd (operated by Srivathsan Chinnakonda, Chennai, India). By using Offrd, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Description of Service

Offrd is an AI-powered job search platform that provides:

• Real-time job search across multiple job boards (LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, Naukri, and others via third-party APIs)
• AI-powered job match scoring against your resume
• AI-powered resume tailoring with company brand colours
• AI-powered cover letter generation
• Application pipeline tracking

Offrd is a job search assistance tool only. We are not an employer, staffing agency, or recruiter. We do not guarantee job placements, interview calls, salary outcomes, or employment of any kind. Job listings displayed are sourced from third-party APIs and may be outdated, inaccurate, or unavailable.

3. Accounts and Eligibility

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• You may not create more than one account per person
• You may not share your account with others
• Corporate or team accounts require separate arrangements — contact crsrivathsan@gmail.com

4. Subscriptions and Billing

4a. Recurring billing

Paid subscriptions are recurring — they renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

4b. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time by emailing crsrivathsan@gmail.com with the subject "Cancel Subscription". Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain full access to your plan features until that date.

4c. Refund policy

We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you cancel mid-month, you retain access until the end of the paid period but will not receive a refund for the unused portion. Exceptions may be made at our sole discretion for technical failures on our part — contact us within 7 days of the charge.

4d. Price changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices. We will give you at least 30 days' notice of any price increase via email before it applies to your subscription.

4e. Failed payments

If your payment fails, we will notify you by email. If payment is not resolved within 7 days, your account may be downgraded to the Free plan until payment is updated.

5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

You must review all AI-generated content before using it. Specifically:

• Always verify that dates, job titles, company names, and metrics in tailored resumes are accurate and match your actual experience
• Never submit AI-generated content that contains factually incorrect information about your background
• Cover letters may require personalisation — verify all facts, names, and claims before sending
• Job match scores are estimates based on AI analysis and do not guarantee interview selection or suitability
• Offrd is not liable for any negative consequences arising from submitting AI-generated content that contains errors

By using Offrd's AI features, you acknowledge and accept these limitations and take full responsibility for reviewing and verifying all output before use.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Offrd to:

• Create false or misleading resumes or cover letters misrepresenting your qualifications
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of the Service
• Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service without our written permission
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable law
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other user accounts or our systems
• Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our permission
• Use the Service to spam, harass, or harm other individuals

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice or refund.

7. Intellectual Property

7a. Your content

Your resume, cover letters, and personal information belong to you. By using Offrd, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your content solely to provide the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of your content and do not use it to train AI models.

7b. Our content

The Offrd platform, including its design, code, brand, logo, and all features, is owned by Offrd and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our explicit written permission.

8. Third-Party Services

Offrd integrates with third-party services including Google, Supabase, Anthropic, OpenWeb Ninja, Adzuna, Stripe, and Razorpay. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the actions, content, or availability of third-party services.

Job listings displayed in Offrd are sourced from third-party APIs. We do not verify the accuracy, currency, or legitimacy of job listings. Always verify job details directly with the employer before applying.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• Offrd is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied
• We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• We are not liable for job application outcomes, employment decisions, or career consequences arising from use of the Service
• Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability. In such cases, our liability is limited to the minimum extent permitted by law.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Service ceases immediately
• We may delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy
• Prepaid subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

For users in the European Union, nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under EU consumer protection law. For California users, nothing in these Terms limits your rights under California consumer protection law.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email (if you have an account) at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
